Computer science & technology

Computer Science and Technology Department is the most interesting area in technical field, anyone who is keen interested in learning software development or to establish their career in software zone, they are most welcome in Computer Science and Technology Department, at Durgapur institute of Polytechnic.

Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering, 3 years Diploma course with intake of 60 students in DIP being established in 2014. This department is approved by AICTE and affiliated to West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development.

Mechanical Engineering

Department of Mechanical Engineering was started in the year 2014. It offers 3 years Diploma course. The annual intake of the Diploma in Mechanical course is 60. At present more than 180 students are doing Diploma course with this department.

Civil Engineering

Welcome to the department of civil Engineering – a community of academics who work together & learn together & endeavour to make the world a better place. Civil diploma engineers design, build & maintain the structures, quality control & infrastructure for the betterment of our society.
